Reactivate licence every month?

Hi, each month just after the sub renews I have to reactivate Photo Mechanic (it asks me for activation and to re enter the licence key) and find the key and enter it as if I have never purchased before.

Is there a way not to have to do this - it is inconvenient to try and find the licence key each month. Thanks

This issue should be fixed in the 7578 build of Photo Mechanic.

• Fixed: License Expired message and failure to run on last day of subscription.

Great thanks, hadn't realised there was a new version as had been using the app to check for updates, will keep a closer eye. Thanks

I updated to the new version and all was well but now the activation problem has recurred. Will there be a more permanent solution at some point?

The next build will check for compliance each day it is used.  We expect this to take care of the problem for good.

Can you advise what the build is that corrects this? There is a pre release candidate but I only want to use a fully released version and it's difficult to navigate what version is actually the latest fully established one. Thanks

I am running (universal) Photo Mechanic Version 2025.1, build 8239 (63d9685) on a 2021 Macbook Pro (Apple M1 Pro chip) and macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 and I have had a standard subscription since March, 2024. Every month at the time my subscription payment is supposed to go through I am still being asked to re-input my license key. This happens at the most inconvenient time. Last night, March 8, 2025, it was when I began editing in my car after shooting two, back-to-back region basketball games on a very tight deadline. I have had this issue every month since the subscription service began. Also, if I close out of Photo Mechanic, after re-entering the license key correctly, the next time I open Photo Mechanic - I usually get the message again and have to input the licence key, again. This normally goes on for a few hours. Last night it only happened twice.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.  May I ask you for more information?

When this happens, has it been a few days since the last time you started up PM?
Do you keep PM running for extended periods of time?
Do you often have no internet connection?
