Photo Mechanic 2024.10 Universal-Binary Release Candidate
« on: October 09, 2024, 07:58:08 AM »
I have a license for PM 6. I downloaded two days ago PM 2024.10 Release Candidate and I noticed that it includes PM 6 Plus.

Today I downloaded Photo Mechanic 2024.10 Universal-Binary Release Candidate (I'm on a M1 Silicon) but I didn't want to use the Plus version. Unfortunately when I opened it on my computer Its the Plus version that I get and I can't see a way to be able to test only the "normal" version and not the Plus one. I supposed I have to remove in that purpose a "preferences" probably hidden somewhere to get rid of this Plus version. What is the right process to get able to test only the normal version ???????? Thanks for help in advance.I would like also to know how I can upgrade the PM6 normal license to the Universal Binary one ?????????

Didn't the "Photo Mechanic 2024.10 Universal-Binary Release Candidate" ask you to activate?  Which license key did you use?

The Universal-Binary didnt ask me to activate. It was the 2024.10 Released two days ago who asked me to activate and I used the WNCG-AGHV-446C-RCPM code suggested on your site to activate it. I didnt saw any mention that the 2024.10 RC was a PM Plus version so I was surprised to discover it when opening it !

Use this license key instead: ZQBD-C799-MK2Y-AGPM

It is from https://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=16445.0

On that post, I listed two keys, one for Plus, one for the standard edition.

If you want to use the above key, deactivate (Help->Licensing->Deactivate this computer...) and then relaunch and activate with the above key.

HTH,

We don’t have any information about discounts here, but you can reach out to the Support team at support@camerabits.com.

The Release Candidate will expire on October 30th. We intend to release it to the general public on or around that date, and as long as we don't discover some critical issue before then, we will be doing so.
