Problem after slideshow PM6
« on: October 12, 2024, 06:05:26 AM »

I use PM6 (normal version)

Every time I did a slideshow, after I start a second slide show, the whole program is freezing and a crash (program hung up). I cloud nothing else do than forced stopped the program and start al over again.

I have a Mac mini M1 processor with 16 GB ram

Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348)

The underlying technology that the slide show uses (OpenGL) has been deprecated by Apple and support for OpenGL isn't what it used to be on older macOS versions.  The implementation of the slide show will be re-engineered, in the next few months, with a version that doesn't use OpenGL.

I just want to add to this that there is a workaround to this that involves resetting your preferences. Please see my replies in this thread and get in touch if you need help with recovering preferences after the reset.
