Folder Naming Based on Image Width

I would like to resize several edited images for a client to a specific width for web use, for example, 2500 pixels wide. Ideally, I’d like to simply define the desired pixel width depending on the situation, and PhotoMechanic would automatically create a folder named after that specific width. In my example, the folder would then be named "2500".

Is there an option that allows this type of folder creation? When I use the variable "{width}", a folder is created, but PhotoMechanic uses the original pixel width before resizing. For instance, the folder might be named "7426" instead of "2500".

Is there another variable or workflow that could solve my problem?

No variable that evaluates to the saved width or height.  If you're putting 2500 into the 'to fit box', can't you enter 2500 in the folder name as well?

Hi PJS, here's an alternative:

1) Open a Contact Sheet on the folder where your full-sized images reside.
2) CTRL-A (Select All); CTRL-S (Save As) to a new subfolder (/Resized") with the desired changes (output MB size, dimensions, etc.).
3) Open a Contact Sheet on the "/Resized" folder.
4) CTRL-A; CTRL-Y (Copy/Move) images with {width} as the subfolder name.

This will put the resized images into subfolder(s) based on their resized file width.  However, I agree with Kirk, if you're not dealing with lots of different output file widths, it's easier to just enter the width manually when doing the first "Save As'.
