Transferred files: sorting or change rule

It would be nice to get rid of transferred photos so there is less photos to deal with and no risk in sending the same photos again.

Two possibilities I guess:

1. Like the colours and stars. Hide transferred.

2. An option where transferred are automatically changed to X (stars or colour).

Features like this (wanting to perform some operation on images after they're uploaded) are hard to implement and guarantee success because of the dynamic nature of Photo Mechanic and uploads progressing in parallel (in the background) while you continue to do other work.

For instance, you can do any of the following to trip up the ability to perform an operation the image after it is uploaded:
1) Rename the image.
2) Move the image.
3) Delete the image.

PM copies your images that you upload to a private area and uploads them from there.  It does this to prevent images in the queue that have not been sent from being interfered with by the user.  Once the upload completes, the copied images are deleted.

What you're requesting cannot be guaranteed to work given the nature of Photo Mechanic.

You can use the "Select Transferred" command on the Edit menu to select the successfully transferred images and then manually make a rating/tag/color label change and filter on that to hide them.

Thanks for the answer.

I select them now and then add a 3 star.

Maybe there is a chance to add a shortcut for "select transferred"

Then I can choose transferred, add stars and then hide!

Shorcuts (especially customizable) is very important when its cold like now and for any kind of automation (it can be difficult to record the mouse or trackpad action sometimes).

You've already selected a bunch of files to transfer.  They're still selected after the transfer.  If the transfer appears successful, just add color or stars to the already selected photos.  Or at least, that's what I do.

Sure.

Also what I do.

But it does take some extra time. Especially without a shortcut and if wearing gloves etc....
