In the Set Code Replacements dialog (Edit->Settings->Set Code Replacements...)

Wouldn't a button "reload code replacements" in ingest window be more useful, and actually requested feature?

You are, or really, I did.  I'll post a build soon that has the feature in the Universal-binary version of Photo Mechanic.

Wouldn't a button "reload code replacements" in ingest window be more useful, and actually requested feature?

I think automatic is far better than requiring you to both change your files and also remember to click that button.  Also, once we were to add that button to Ingest, it would have to be added to a number of other dialogs (Save as, Copy/Move, Upload, Live Ingest, Metadata dialogs, etc.)
