Use Arrow Keys in Metadata (IPTC) view
« on: January 20, 2025, 08:17:13 PM »
I wonder a bit why the arrow keys don't work in the "Metadata (IPTC) view" to jump to the next photo.

Is this a bug or feature?

There are other shortcuts for moving between images: https://docs.camerabits.com/support/solutions/articles/48000317772-keyboard-shortcuts-macos#Metadata-(IPTC)-Info-Window

okay, thanks. well I've tried it again. command + shift + N or B is a bit cumbersome in the keyboard layout. easy to mess up with other system’s keyboard shortcuts like "command + v".
I still would prefer to use the arrow keys like in the exif metadata view…

a solution, which everybody would make happy, would be user defined keyboard shortcuts.
it would also help in combination to other Digital Asset Management / Photo software.

for example i use almost the same shortcuts in Lightroom and Capture One
