Completely remove GPs data - how?

I added some GPS data to a series of images but later realised that they where not taken at that location and that I do not know the location.

How can I completely remove the GPS data?

They cannot be removed with Photo Mechanic.  ExifTool can remove them.  https://exiftool.org/
