Edit Photo with PM cropping, PhotoShop

When Ctrl+E to edit an image in Photoshop, if the image is cropped in PM, PS opens it in CameraRaw. If I delete the crop in PM, it opens "normally" in PS, as it should be.

Any chance I can avoid to delete the cropping in PM to open the image directly in PS?

You probably have Camera Raw set to "Automatically open JPEGs and HEICs with settings". Please see my attached screenshot.

If that's not it, I'm not sure, and would recommend contacting Adobe support, as Photo Mechanic has no control over how Photoshop decides to open the files that we ask it to open, as far as I know.

Wonderful, many thanks. I did disable it and it works fine (I don't even use CameraRaw, which is officially not installed, but part of PS...).
