Issues with File Uploader for Flickr and Dropbox

Hello everyone

I must admit that I am a rather new user of photomechanic, however when I try to start an upload to my Flickr account or to my Dropbox I get always the error message: "Unable to upload because: Failed to load settings for current account. Please click the Connections button." Of course I have added the account and entered the verifcation code but removing and readding the account doesn't solve the issue. It is interesting to me that altough I get an error message everytime I try to click "Send" the status bar displays "Ready.". Reselecting the account from the dropdown menu doesn't help either.

Have I made a mistake in the setup or config of the file uploader or is this a known problem? Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

I took a look the account where you made your purchase based on the email address you used on the forum, and it looks your name may contain a non-ASCII character, which I am guessing is part of your display name in those applications, which unfortunately causes a problem with our uploaders. For example, I changed my "Display name" on Flickr to what you see below, and I start getting the same error that you reported

Thank you so much, it is working properly now! This explanation is so logical but it would have never come to my mind that changing my name on Flickr would solve the issue. Kudos to the best customer support!
