Custom Keyboard Shortcuts for Metadata Presets / Snapshots
« on: March 12, 2025, 10:42:23 PM »
I need "Custom Keyboard Shortcuts" for Metadata Presets / Snapshots to apply sets of metadata to all selected photos.

For example. I select all images which have people on it visable in the contact sheet, then I press "Control + p" and apply the supplemental category "People" on them. Next I select all images of wide shots of the location and press "Cotrol + L" and apply the supplemental category "Location" on them.

To open the Metadata Template or Keywords Panel, click and change it every time to "Apply Template to Selected" is way to slow and cumbersome.

In theory these "Custom Keyboard Shortcuts" are just another variants for other metadata for the function "Apply Metadata (IPTC) Template to Photos" (Shift + Command + I). It just a bit cumbersome to change always the templates.

So if it would be possible to set specific shortcuts  (Shift + Command + …) to different templates, not only the actual, it would be the solution.
