Are you sure you are using the correct uploader?

In our previous communications, you were using the FTP uploader, you sent me screenshots of you uploading to PicDrop using the FTP uploader, but the error you sent in your post indicates an SFTP error. PicDrop's documentation indicates that you should be using the SFTP uploader in Photo Mechanic: https://www.picdrop.com/web/faq/how-do-i-setup-my-ftp-client

I started a free account for PicDrop to try to test this out, but it turns out that FTP uploads for new accounts is not allowed (as stated in the page linked above) so I could not test. Perhaps they have ended support for FTP uploads entirely, or you need to use SFTP instead of FTP or vice versa.

Hi, sure. I'm using the SFTP uploader as the normal FTP uploader with discontinued by picdrop.
And I used it earlier this week and it worked fine. I don't know why it stopped working now and throws those errors. Can you tell me what they mean?
Picdrop only supports FTP uploads for old accounts, and my account is quite old.

I was asked this and then the error was back.
On my second device, a laptop, it works flawlessly.

Don't know why, but it seems the problem disappeared miraculously.

The problem is back. But only if I use ftp photos as... if I use upload it works. What's the exact difference?

The File menu's Upload option will open the last File Uploader template used. The FTP photos as will open the File Uploader set to the FTP template. When you use the Upload option, what template is shown at the upper left of the dialog?  If it's the same FTP template, then there could be an issues with Photo Mechanic's preferences.

If the Upload option opens with a different template selected, then that could explain the difference you are seeing with the two Uploader options.
