Favorites folder movement in a server situation?
« on: April 06, 2025, 07:03:17 AM »
We are attempting to move selected photo(s) in a contact sheet tab to a favorites folder.  The photo(s) can be copied, however, when pressing the option key to move the file instead, the folder becomes deselected (gray instead of blue) and the move is not possible.  Both the favorite folder and the contact sheet directories are on the same smb network shared drive. Users are able to perform the expected move on other workstations with the same user access and permissions, but not on this machine.  The user has permissions to edit and delete in both directories, and can perform those actions within the Finder app.
Is there a setting or option that would be preventing this move?  Any other suggestions on what might be preventing this?  Thank you
David T
