Preview Windows keeps showing Info Pane

It's annoying that the info pane of the preview window has to be disabled every time I start PM. The thumbnails stay hidden. Is there any way to change this behavior? I am using the Photo Mechanic Plus Version 2025.1, build 8239 on a Mac (Sequoia 15.4).

This is not happening on the windows version of PM where it works as expected and the both panes stay hidden until I press F.

Are you talking about the entire panel on the right side of the Preview window, or just the pane that shows the Info text that can be collapsed?
