PM Basic Gallery - right click to download

Even if I uncheck the checkbox, you still cannot download images (it gives you an empty “blank.png” file instead of the ACTUAL file….

How can I make it so that you can actually download images from “PM Basic Gallery” ?

Hi Verxion,

After looking at the code it appears to be working as designed in that the image source will always be this empty.png file. We should be able to change this behavior in a future build of Photo Mechanic, but nothing can be done at this moment to allow the PM Basic Gallery to download the source file.

If you're needing source file downloads you can use a different exporter like one of the PM Classic templates.

Thank you for responding.  I had taken the checkbox as a choice between either blocking right click downloads or allowing them.  It looks like it is more just a checkbox to pop up a message or not, while right clicking is intended to be disabled regardless.

If at all possible, yes, I’d like to have the ability for people to download by right clicking.

I wasn’t able to find any other gallery with a “skin” as nice as PM Basic Gallery.

Hi Verxion,

I've made a change to the imagenav.js file that should allow for a contextual menu download of the source file. Download the attached imagenav.zip file and then unzip the file and copy imagenav.js to your exports js folder, replacing the existing imagenav.js file.

After we test the change further on our end we will add it to our next release.
