PM doesnt update folders - I have to quit PM then restart to see them

Hello
Ive been using PM for over 10 years
The problem I have is this:
In PM I read my SD drive with photos and upload to a PM folder that I create
Uploading done
But that folder does not show up in PM
I have to quit PM
Then restart PM to see the folder
Very frustrating and time wasting
Please help

Do you mean that you are using Ingest? How are you creating the folder?

But that folder does not show up in PM

Where does the folder not show up? In the navigator? Or is a Contact Sheet not opening after Ingest?

What operating system are you on and what version and build of Photo Mechanic are you using?
