While a more functional crop tool would be great, I'm hoping for something simpler to implement.
While the old-school journalist/sports photographer in me wants to free crop to get the most impactful shot, the reality is that our photos are going to end up on social media. Many social media platforms want either a square or a 4:5. I've been going to the dialog box to set the ratio to 5:4, but sometimes I want a vertical 4:5. A simple key stroke to rotate the selection would be quite helpful.
In the long run, I think the crop tool could get a solid update.
