Find function not working as well as before update from PM 6 to PM 2025.1

I just purchased the 2025.1 build 8239 last week to replace my Photo Mechanic 6 and my "find" function doesn't seem to be working very well. I can put a person's last name in the search field while a contact sheet is open and it will show no results or only a small portion of the results (I have names in both keywords & captions). Another laptop I use still has Photo Mechanic 6 and it gives me correct results when I use it to search the same contact sheet. I have the same search parameters on both laptops. I have a Macbook Pro M2 and Sequoia 15.4.1 Thoughts?

Assume that the searches you are doing in build 8239 are case-sensitive, even if you have that box in the find window unchecked. If you use a search term that matches the case of what you are looking for, does it work then?

If yes, then this will be fixed in the next build we release.

Yes it looks like my searches have become case sensitive even if the box in the find window is unchecked. Yes, It will find items if the search term matches the case of what I'm looking for. Other than that everything is good. I'll watch for the next build release. Thanks so much
