What is "set on the camera" ?  I do not understand what you're asking about, please rephrase your question.

Generally, one uses PM's Ingest feature along with a dedicated card reader to copy images from the card to their computer's storage device.

If the camera can operate in 'disk mode', showing up as a drive when connected to your computer, then that will work.  Otherwise, a dedicated card reader is needed.

You could run an FTP server on your computer, connect via Ethernet, and then use the FTP Send function on your camera (using the Set button) to transmit. Then run Live Ingest in Photo Mechanic to watch the folder the images are getting pushed into and Ingest them into your working folder/Contact Sheet.
