Super responsive on MAC, much slower on high end PC

I am using photomechanic on 2 computers :
- a Macbook Air M4 base model (16Go RAM and 256Go SSD) and I store my pictures on a Samsung T7 Shield
- a PC with Ryzen9 9950X3D, 96Go RAM, RTX5090 ans Samsung 990PRO SSDs

on MAC, I can take a look at my file very quickly like a video, so responsive I can cull 1000 pictures in less than 5 minutes.
on PC it hangs just a bit between pictures and that is sooooooooooo annoying.

It was already the case with my old Macbookpro M1Pro (very responsive) and my Ryzen9 3900X... less responsive.

The problem is not SSD speed, nor ram... so it looks like it's Windows 11

Is there a way to improve that???

like I said it works fine, no bug... just not as responsive as MAC. I increased cache and that help a bit, but still less responsive as MAC.

like I said it works fine, no bug... just not as responsive as MAC. I increased cache and that help a bit, but still less responsive as MAC.
