Incremental after mistakes

In an ideal world, shoot, ingest, verify, format, rinse, repeat.

In reality, I'm human and other things happen.   So, in this case, I did an incremental ingest only.  Something was wrong with the filename so I delete the ingest folders.  I click rescan on the catalog and then I try incremental again.  No joy.  As far as I can tell PM has already seen these files and therefore won't ingest them again using incremental only.

Is there a way for PM to ignore its last incremental and then do that incremental again?

Seems like simply renaming the files after the fact would have been a simple fix for this?

No. The best alternative would be to open the folders on the memory card as Contact Sheet, Select the items that you need to Ingest, and then use 'From Selection' as the source for the Ingest.

That ignores the actual problem as well as something like sequence is bigger PITA.  In my particular case, something in the chain between camera -> windows -> PM -> CaptureOne was lower-casing filetypes.  Since I'm new to PM, I've also borked a template or two and only realized my mistake once they've been ingested.
