Update capture date using creation date?

I have a batch of old photos that somehow ended up with the correct creation date but the wrong capture date. Unfortunately the incorrect capture dates seem to be fairly random so I can't simply use "Adjust capture dates and times" to fix this.

Is there is any way to use the creation date to update the capture date, other than doing it one at a time?

This is not possible with Photo Mechanic but should be achievable through Exiftool
