PM 6 Plus - unable to render PSD image
« on: August 04, 2025, 09:15:02 AM »
Hello,

PM does not show previews of my PSD files. It only shows "Unable to render image". Do i have to change something in my settings?

I attached 2 screen shots.

I'm only seeing a single screenshot, but a sample file would be more helpful. Please email your PSD file to support@camerabits.com

I am not able to upload a PSD file. Maybe it is the size of 350MB? Is there an upload limit for attachments?

I just found that this small file without any layer works. But if layers are used, PM can not render and show it.

If the PSD is saved without "Maximize Compatibility" turned on, then it won't have a composite layer that PM can use to preview the PSD file.  PM cannot render layers, apply plugins, etc. of like Photoshop's proprietary graphics engine can.

Thanks, that is the solution. Previews are shown now. :)
