Just saw the update on my system. Are we safe to update?

The only issue we've found is that inline renaming on the Contact Sheet doesn't have an opaque background, so you can see the current filename as you type a new one. There may be other issues that we haven't found yet.

We strongly suggest never upgrading to any macOS release until it has had at least a few updates.

In all fairness, Tahoe was launched in June and had 9 beta versions until the releasing of the public version. So it is hardly a 'new' software.

If it is like any of the other major macOS releases, macOS Tahoe is very likely full of bugs of various severity.  Time will tell.

In the past some of the bugs cause major performance issues when reading files off of a camera card, and even data loss.  You're welcome to take your chances. I can only advise.
