MeteData Template
« on: Today at 05:38:58 AM »
Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 7285 (fb3e520) Mac  Sequoia 15.7.2 as well as a Mac Mini, which machine doesn't matter for this issue.

I modify the MetaData IPTC template, moving the title up under the keywords - image 1- but the results shaown in image 2 indicate a lot is "wrong". Alt Text is disabled and not visible in the template but is still in the display.
Which brings up another question, if an entry in the IPTC Information or Template is Not Enabled, does the Visibility entry matter?
I've been struggling with this for a week, I have even removed and re-installed PhotoMechanic,  ok I'm a slow learner....but is there a Step-by-Step process documented somewhere, anywhere?  Been through the  help pages and videos and just not getting the setup I evidently need.
All Help is appreciatted & Thanks. - Bob

Bob,

You're editing the layout of the Metadata Template dialog, which has two columns, but you're showing the Metadata Info dialog that only has one column.  You need to edit the Metadata Info dialog layout.

Thanks,

-Kirk

I think I did edit the Info.  Here is a shot of my Info panel.  You can see how confused I am and I really appreciate your rapid response. Been fighting this for over a week and ready for a nap...
