Font size
« on: Yesterday at 10:02:04 AM »
I'm having the same problem others have had since installing PM on a new PC with Windows 11. Changing font size in the system settings doesn't change the size of the file name in the thumbnails or the folder names in Navigator. A PM tech had asked for a screenshot in a previous post so I'm including one here.

Still running the legacy PM6 (we have numerous licenses here at work and are trying to put off moving to subscription as long as possible), so I don't know if you will be able to help me, but my eyes are telling me to ask.

Thanks,

Eric

The contact sheet thumbnail titles are not Windows-based widgets and do not respond to system font size.  PM itself would have to offer thumbnail label size customization via a setting in the Preferences dialog.

The only thing I can see to change in Preferences/Accessibility is font size in IPTC Captions.

Is that offered in the new sub based PM?  If not, on behalf of the other users with old eyes, it really needs to be. Adobe allows me to change the size in Bridge and PS.

I didn't have this trouble before getting the new computer. Font size was larger and very readable.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.  There is currently no way to adjust the font size of the thumbnail labels in the Contact Sheet view.

No, not currently.

I expect that the DPI of your monitor has increased significantly over your old system and that is why the font appears smaller.

My eyes are also getting older and I find myself wanting larger fonts too.

Desktop PC. Same NEC monitor I've had for years and same 2560x1440 resolution setting.

Since you want larger fonts too, maybe you know who to talk to there. Tell them I'll give them a dollar if they add the option to change font size. Ha.
