I am in the process of switching from LR to PM+ (been using PM for years now).

I had a trial version of PM+, but never tested this. The scenario is:

I have 20-years of images, which are sorted into a folder structure as follows:

year>>shoot name
>> raw selects (so a sub folder of shoot name)
>> raw non selects (so a sub folder of shoot name).

I am aware when doing a catalog scan you can exclude certain folders. The challenge for me is the sheer number of folders I am wanting to exclude (think 20 years' of 'raw non select' folders, which is thousands of these folders).

Is there a global command I can use to exclude all folders labelled 'raw non selects', as part of the catalogue scanning process?

I need a firm handle on how to solve this before proceeding with my PM+ purchase (I just don't think I have it in me to exclude each folder one-by-one).

Many thanks. Thomas.

The field next to the "Add Pattern..." button is there for this reason. The example provided is for excluding all folders called 'CaptureOne', regardless of the path to the parent folder (the * is a wildcard that will match any path)
