Can't see contents of HD

I am using a MacBook Air M2, running Sequoia 14.3.1 with Photomechanic Plus V6. When I plug in my WD hard drive I can access it in its entirely using Finder. From the Photomechanical navigation, I can see the HD, but it does not have an expand arrow, as do other drives. When I double click on the HD icon, nothing happens. I have granted Photomechanical Plus 'full disk access'.

Any help, much appreciated. I am not an expert user, so my errors could be fairly basic!

I had similar issue with certain folders. Still not sure what caused it. Those folder did not show the arrow even copied to other hard drive. Only right clicking on the folder and selecting refresh helped. But I had to do that every time after relaunching PM

This issue is most likely due to a security setting in your macOS that prevents programs from accessing data in certain locations until you grant it permission. Here are some steps to take that should solve this problem.

1. Quit out of Photo Mechanic 6.
2. Open up the macOS System Settings and go to "Privacy & Security".
3. Select 'Full Disk Access'
4. Select the toggle to the right of "Photo Mechanic 6". (if Photo Mechanic is not in the list, select the + sign at the bottom of the list and add it from the Applications folder)
5. Enter your administrator password to be able to make changes.
6. Close the System Settings window.

Now, restart Photo Mechanic and see if you can access your folders or subfolders. Please let us know if this doesn't resolve the issue and we'll be happy to look into it further.
