SFTP Error Windows 11

Hello,
I am having a problem establishing an SFTP connection because the fingerprint does not match the server.

Photo Mechanic version 2025.11.0.0 build 8911 (0c44010)

How can I reset the fingerprint? Only with deleting the connection?

If you are certain that nothing malicious is going on and the server's public key has changed. You will need to delete the line that starts with that server name and/or address (ssh.strato.de,81.169.145.126) from your known_hosts file, most likely located in one of the following paths

C:\Users\username\.ssh\known_hosts

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Camera Bits, Inc\Photo Mechanic\fileupload\templates\builtin\known_hosts

Then save the changes to your known_hosts file and quit Photo Mechanic if it's running. The next time you use the SFTP uploader it will allow you to save the new server fingerprint.

Where would I find the file on MacOS?

On macOS the location should be

/Users/username/.ssh/known_hosts

or

/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic/fileupload/templates/builtin/known_hosts
