I'm also having a similar problem although I'm still on Sequoia. Just installed 2026.1, build 9024.   I'm experiencing freezes a number of iPhone images.  I cannot open them and I have to force quit.  I can send you a log if you'd like.

Can you tell me more about your system?  What model, and how much memory (RAM) does it have?

Would it be possible to share one or two of the images that cause the freeze?  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

Logs would also be nice if you can post the zip file too.
