Unusually frequent license checks

So, I'm on perpetual license (updates expired in march).
I installed a new beta and used it for a bit, but then it seems it expired too or something activation window popped up.
I deleted beta and installed last version I am allowed to use (2026.2), but now I get license check window 3 days in a row. Every time I launch PM.
Can I stop it?

This may sound really dumb, but it caught me a while back.   Are you on a Mac and launching from a pinned Dock icon?   I had downloaded an update and installed it but the Dock icon was tied to the previous version of the application, which was still installed in a diffrent folder location (ie, not my Applications folder).   Every time I launched it landed to old version of the app and gave the window about new software.

Just deleted the BETA in Applications. Let's see how it goes.
But yeah, license checks once a day continued before that

I keep seeing license check window quite often now.
Encountered it again and it is often enough for me to write the post. Seems like it checks it every day, at least once. And iprevious check doesnt seem to be enough not to check the next day.

Yesterday I had problems with internet, and regular every day check couldnt go through — and PM didn’t let me use itself at all.
Guys really, perpetual license kinda should imply I can use it whenever now. Not stop when I'm away from wifi for a day.
