Very Very Slow Ingest via PhotoMechanic

Hi All!

Im facing an Issue where the Ingest from My PerGear CF Express TYPE A card to my SSD is taking an alarmingly slow time.

Equipment: Sony A1 mark 1 bodies (x2), PerGear CF Express Type A Master 256gb, Macbook Pro M2 MAX, SSD external drive,
Photo Mechanic 6

I shoot combat sports in Lossless compressed ARW, and have used PM as my first point of call for ingesting the photos to tag, organise etc (all the great things that PM does!!). The ingest is from the Memory card to the Primary destination: the SSD drive. This set up and Ingest usually takes me no more than 10 mins per card, however today, each card has taken well over an hour!

I have tried a variation of card readers, Cards and HD's and they all work normally as per my usual times when I ingest / Import directly to Adobe Lightroom Classic, However when I do these combinations using PM, I am seeing the increased timings to ingest, as I mentioned above, essentially ruling out the Hardware, and leading me in the direction of this being a potential Photo Mechanic issue....

Can anyone urgently help?

Hi Anup,

Please email our support team a copy of Photo Mechanic's log file.

You can access the PM_log.zip file by going to Photo Mechanic's top Help menu and selecting "Reveal Support Data”.

Select "Yes" in the next dialog to create the zip file and then a Finder window will open with the "PM_log.zip" file selected.

Please add the PM_log.zip as an attachment.
