Automate Persons shown?

Hi

Sorry if this has been asked or discussed before.

I shoot football matches and need the player's name in Persons shown, as well as the player's name and team in the Caption field.

Is there a way to automate this?

Hi, just to clarify, will you need more than one player in the caption?

For example, "John Smith of Mega FC tackles Jack Jones of Big FC"

It is possible. Here is a post I made in the Code Replacement thread that includes some of the solutions you need. https://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=17201.0

I've given this workflow more thought since I posted it, and to automate it further, I suggest adding Hot Codes to the workflow. You would then just need to add the player's name to the 'special field' and your caption using Code Replacements. Hot Codes would then add the player's name and team, and you could use Hot Codes to fill other fields like keywords, add a colour class, etc.

You'll need to make a Hot Sheet for each 'special field' you use; the sheets will be identical except for the namespace.

Let me know if you need more info, as I'm not the best at explaining things.
