Loosing tags and color class informations

Hello,

I think that the fact you loose the 'tag' and 'color class' as well as 'stars quoting' choices when you go from PM to Capture NX or PS editor and going back to PM, is a very boring thing. Additionaly you have to remember what image you are editing from PM before you go back to PM when finished to rewrite all tagged data... don't forget that you are in 'Contact Sheet' view !!

PM is the first step to make a classification before editing in any serious editor but in fact you LOOSE all your tagged data. The PM database should remember it.?

But perhaps I will be the only one to work in this manner ?

check your preferences. You have it set up wrong. Add tag, color class and rating to IPTC/XMP is the one you need. Try "Always" (slower tagging, but not by much - because it has to write the tag to another portion of the file).
