Kirk, currently use Pm and the feature that allows to export to a simple viewer gallery, currently add file name to id images displayed,
would also like to add caption info from iptc in PM is this a rewrite in simpleviewer of a PM issue???

Neither.  It can already be done.  Just put the following into the Caption field of the Simple Viewer export template:

{filename}
{caption}

That should do it.
