Favorites reorder themselves...

Windows version of PM 4.5.2.

I order the favorites the way I want them, then the next time I start PM, they reorder themselves into some other order.  I've done this several times and now I give up as the order I create never is sustained.

I do not have this problem with the Mac version of PM 4.5.2.

What's up with the Windows version (XP Pro)?

I don't know why it does that.  I did not code the Favorites for the Windows version and the person who did write it no longer works for us.  It is another part of the Windows version that I plan to reprogram.

I did create the Mac version of the Favorites and it does work well.

I'll recode the Windows Favorites at some point.

It has a second bug as well.  When dragging the items into place, the item is placed one item above the insertion bar.  So if you want it to be the third item, you drag it to the space between 3 and 4, then it jumps up to 3.  If you want it to be first, you drag the insertion bar to between 1 and 2, etc.

I agree it needs to be recoded.

Let us know when the new code is in. We're still having this problem with 4.5.3 on PC and the guys in the office are starting to bug me about it !!!
