PM 4.5.3 Edit from Preview in Leopard isn't functional
« on: December 12, 2007, 09:03:29 PM »
Running the release version of PM 4.5.3 on Leopard 10.5...

In the preview window, the edit functions in the menu and toolbar are grayed out and the E shortcut isn't functional. Is this a bug, or has this been done on purpose because of the problems discussed in the earler thread http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=2343.0 ?

No, not likely.  Have you configured any editors for PM to launch yet?

I had not--just installed PS3 and forgot about that. My confusion arose since LR edit functions seem to work ok from the contact sheet with the default "Let the finder open files", but didn't work from the preview. Configuring the preferences fixed it.

Thanks for the help.
