New Email Sizing Option
« on: December 31, 2007, 05:45:11 PM »
I love the 'send as email' feature, and use it all the time.
I usually have several images to send to a single person, and already
use the send in individual email option.  One thing that has bitten me
is that most ISPs won't deliver attachments over 5MB. When you
send full size images, and use the slider to make it under
5MB, it seems to only apply to the first image.  It would be
great if there were a check box that would make each image
get resized to just under 5MB.  That would allow the least amount
of compression to fit a single image in a single email.

Thanks for listening... I am new to PM and already can't live without it.

Thanks

The same compression level is applied to all images in the group.  So some images in your case would be just under 5MB and others may exceed 5MB by a bit.  It would be best to set the quality such that you're getting about 4.5MB instead.  Also remember that when the email itself is encoded it will get a bit larger because of MIME encoding.
