Magnifying thumbnails
« on: January 06, 2008, 11:03:00 AM »

I´m working with version 4.4.3.2 on Mac Os 10.4.9 I have never had any problems with photomechanic.
Yesterday when I opened a contact sheet, I tried to magnify an image by clicking on the shutter in the lower right hand corner of the thumbnail and everything froze up. I cannot move anywhere within photomechanic.
I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. It did the same thing.
I then updated the program. It does the same thing.
Does anyone know what´s going on?
Thanks

Did the Preview window show up at all?

BTW, PM 4.4.3.3 is the latest version of the 4.4 series and is a free update for you.

I would recommend starting over with default preferences.  You can find your preferences file in the following location:

<your home folder>/Library/Preferences/com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.plist

Just move that file to your Desktop temporarily.  A new preferences file with defaults will be created.  Then try PM again.

HTH,

No, no preview shows up. The same thing happens when I double click on the thumbnail.
I tried what you said... reset the default preferences, but got the same result.
The updated version I have is 4.5.3, but this problem happened before I even updated. It happened out of the blue. I´ve got the same setup running on my laptop and everything is fine.

Open up the Console application (Applications/Utilities/Console.app) and check it for any messages pertaining to Photo Mechanic.
