Nikon D3 raw files with v4.5.3

I'm trying to generate jpegs from Nikon D3 and D300 raw files with the save as command.  If the file is raw only, the file is unsupported.  If there is RAW + JPEG, then of course it works.  The process works fine with D2x and D200 files....  Is there a way to generate jpeg files of medium resolution from D3 RAW (NEF) files?

Not until Apple adds support for rendering D3 and D300 images in the OS.  You can use the Extract JPEG Previews from RAW photos command in the Tools menu to pull the previews out of your NEFs.

In 4.6 I am going to allow the embedded JPEG preview in RAW files to be used as the source image for saving.

Hello, Is there a was to get D300 RAW support without using Mac OS X 10.5.2. I'm running 10.4.11 on a 1.5 PB G4. Is there a hack, a workaround or a single component I can add to 10.4.11? Thanks, Paul
