line breaks in caption text and PhotoShelter

Hi,
I wrote some captions on JPG files and uploaded these to PhotoShelter.

The text in the caption field has some line breaks.
For every line break PhotoShelter is showing a "." (point), now.

Is it not allowed to use line breaks in caption text or is this a PhotoShelter issue?

I tried it with all line endings Photo Mechanic offers, but always the same result.

I would think that if none of the three line endings work properly, then PhotoShelter must not want to see line endings at all.

Is there any way to remove the CR and LF from the caption in a Batch with PhotoMechanic?
