burn disc

For some days now I have problems burning images to disc. At the 2. window "burn to disc" the status says "refreshing..." and that window stays for ever. It does not make any difference if I want to burn 5 or 50 images, or if they are Jpeg or Tiff files. This morning I updated to the newest PM and still no luck. Can you help?

Windows XP Professional. It did work until some weeks ago.

burning images to disc is not working anymore. in burning images to disc window at status it says: "refreshing". And that is as far as it gets. It does not make a difference if I try to burn 5 or 50 images, or if they are jpeg or tiff files.

I understand.  I am wondering what has changed about your system that makes it not work anymore.  Did you install any software, change any hardware, drivers, etc.?

It might be that it happened after we got a new external LG DVD burner. But not sure. I will disconnect the unit, and will let you know.

I did delete the Roxio burning software- and now the burning process (with sonic) works again. thanks for your help.
