DVD Burning Where Left Off
« on: February 20, 2008, 02:29:57 PM »
I like the DVD burning feature where it will span everything across a set of discs perfectly but if one encounters a disc error, you have to do it all over again.  Correct me if I'm wrong.  A nice feature would be a way of starting the burning process from exactly where it left off (this would be helpful for regular DVD backups as well), or if it could request a new disc be inserted to "try again."

I second that, it would be great to have a retry option!

The saving current status with the option of continuing it from where is was left could be an extra feature. If I have to write say 10 or even only 5 disks I might not have the time to do it at once and I may need to turn off the machnine or just use PM to something else. With such a great option archiving could be continued where left off.

I forgot to add I would like an option to write either one, two or even more copyies of the disk set prepared by PM since I allways burn two copies of my archives before deleting anything. And of course it would be much safer (and faster) to write them both right with PM from the original files than burn one disk and then copy it to another with a different app.
