folder tree slow on Leopard
« on: May 30, 2008, 07:36:33 AM »
hi,

I'm having issues with PM being slow when opening new folders. It takes a few seconds to half a minute after clicking the triangle . If I access the same folders through the finder it's very fast.

I'm on a Macpro running Leopard 10.5.3 and the files are on an Xserve/Xserve Raid running 10.5.2.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks

Christian

No, but it is entirely possible that the Finder caches directory information or has a better way of talking to an Xserve than we do.

Kirk,

the folders are really slow now. They weren't when the server was running Tiger.
