rotating for printing proofs
« on: July 03, 2008, 08:33:25 PM »
Is there a way to have an image rotate to fit when printing proofs (when selecting a group of portrait and landscape oriented images)?

Thanks,
Jim

I'm not quite sure what you're asking.  You want your portraits to be unrotated when printed?

Kirk,

Sorry for not being clear.
I have a folder with some images landscape and some portrait orientation. When I selected all images for 4x6 proof printing the landscape oriented images filled the page correctly but the portrait oriented images were 90 degrees off on the page.
I know I can group the images by their orientation and select the "orientation" in page setup but would rather skip that extra step.
When printing with Nikon ViewNX  I can choose "Rotate to Fit" in the ViewNX print setup so that all the images are oriented correctly on the 4x6 pages. That way they do not need to be grouped by orientation.
I do like the program and purchased it yesterday.

Thanks,

Was there any solution to this?  I'm also having this issue..  I'm doing a few events where there's a mix of portrait and landscapes..

Thanks in advance,

No, no changes were made to add this feature.
