Print labels for slides

I would love to see and interface that allowed me to print labels for slides.  Our collection is a mixture of old (slides) that are converted to digital images and digital capture images ( RAW, JPG).  I see this being accomplished by setting up a variables interface in a label document so that image name and description could be printed (or other variables).

Printing on what kind of labels?  Label printing software is fairly complicated to write since there are so many different size labels out there.

Perhaps you could use the Text Exporter to create a text file that you could import into label printing software that you already own.  You can use variables to export any data you want to your text file.

I do this to generate labels for the reverse of prints.  I use (on a Mac) Mail Factory, which can read text from a PM exported text file and put it into the required place on the label layout.
