Adding new keywords
« on: July 29, 2008, 07:58:44 AM »
I am relatively new to PM, but have knowledge of keywords from C1pro and PS. I am redoing all my keywords, adding scientific names to animals. I am having trouble adding one, same scientific name to a group of images.
Can you help?
I actually am finding the whole keyword system with PM quite confusing. Are there any tutorials out there to show the process?
Thanks in advance.

Shem,

Select your group of images first.  Then open up the IPTC Stationery Pad dialog from the Image menu.  Find the Keywords field, enter your keyword into the Keywords field.  Make sure you check the two checkboxes to the left of the Keywords field.  Make sure all other field's checkboxes are unchecked.  Click on the Apply Stationery to Selected button.

That should do it.

There is a full manual available from our website that should explain things thoroughly.
