Batch Resizing
« on: August 13, 2008, 12:54:14 PM »
Hi Kirk,
Is there a way to do a batch resize?  I would like to take all the images in a directory (some are NEF, TIF and JPG) and resize the lot to low-res (400x400 pixels) with a file size of 100K.  I see a tool to change the DPI but I'm looking to change the pixel length and width and file size.
Thanks.
David

Generally one would use the Save As dialog, but depending on your OS platform you may not be able to save your NEFs.  In version 4.6 you'll be able to Save As from NEFs using the NEF's embedded JPEG preview.

I don't have a release date for you.  But it should be out in a few months.

In the meantime definitely get version 4.5.3.2.
