Remember Folders
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:03:18 PM »
Hello:

I am having a problem with remembered folders. I opened ~10 folders into one contact sheet and used File > Remember folder... I have a folder in my Favorites with a "plus" sign in front of the folder but if I double click on it there is no response from Photo Mechanic. (Screen capture attached) I created this by opening all of the folders and subfolders within a contact sheet. Then I renamed the folder in the Favorites. Any ideas?

I am using Windows XP SP3 with PM 4.5.3.2

Thank you

I'll try to reproduce the problem here.  But what if you don't rename the remembered folder(s) favorite?  Does it work then?

EDIT: we tried to reproduce the problem on our systems and could not reproduce it.  Even if we remembered folders on a removable drive and had it removed, PM still tried to re-open the folders and gave a warning dialog when it could not do so.

So I need a complete set of steps to reproduce this problem in order to help you.  If you prefer to explain this to someone over the phone, call our support folks at 503-547-2888 and ask for Jerry.  Jerry is familiar with this thread and was the one that tried to reproduce the issue.
