Search and Exclude .psd files?

I have a relatively small number of psd files but enough to totally bog down PM. This becomes a real issue when I do a search and a number of psd files come up.  Is there any way to search images and exclude a file type?  It's a total bummer when I do a search and realize my search contains some psd files.

No, there is no way to limit what file types are returned by the Search in Photo Mechanic.

The PSD loader is being rewritten to not use QuickTime so I think this may become less of an issue in version 4.6.

Good to know.  For me, it's my main time killer in PM.

In the advanced search option, can you search by location?  I can't find that in the pull down menu.
